Submissions
Thank you for your interest in contributing to Rastrojo.
Rastrojo is an online and print publication committed to curating and publishing poetry for the defense of forests.
We’re looking for poetry and poetic experiments that intervene in forest destruction and generate resurgent forest futures. We invite contributions from poets who write with and from forests and their diverse life-worlds in response to their destruction. We’re interested in work that generates poetic resistance and response to ongoing colonization and forest destruction grounded in relationality and oriented towards resurgent forest futures cultivated together with forests themselves and those who defend them. We encourage poetic experiments with forests and their diversity of forms and languages, including listening to forests, performances, film, and cross-genre experimental writing.
